They live in Boise. We decided to meet in the middle and shoot out in Fairfield. Then we headed back to get the classic wintery photo….hot chocolate and twinkle lights in Sun Valley.
I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with such an amazing couple! and REALLY look forward shooting their wedding January 2013! :)

OMG quality!
It delivers great dynamic range, color depth, depth of field, that’s not even comparable to ANY high-end 35mm camera. And, it’s even 2 times larger than my full frame….basically, this baby has UNREAL details!
This is a HUGE investment for me…..but, I feel a bit stuck in my photography. My vibes have been…this isn’t enough. Therefore, like any girl….I needed to go shopping! ;)
With the new camera, I’m hoping to have my work and life be forever changed :) Can’t wait to play, shoot, feel INSPIRED, and share some images soon! (I get this BABE in a few days!)…..

Also, soooo STOKED we have powder to play all weekend…..enjoy the new snow!

So, I thought I’d take a few photos to share our new home.
The bathroom and bedroom are not complete, too embarrassing to share right now…it’s a mess ;)
Our place is TINY, but I love all the natural light, large patio and 2 decks!

Here’s Presly’s small, very pink, and colorful room. It has a really cool sliding barn door. I also love her bed from Pottery Barn, it has built in draws and shelves for toys, books, and clothes. Her favorite part of the room is the large beanbag, mine is the Anthropologie bedding. She also a small desk in the corner and closet for all her shoes and dresses…..

The upstairs is super airy and reminds me of a loft in the city. One of my favorite DIY projects is adding the brick behind the Viking range (had to plug..it’s an amazing stove!) also stainless steel restaurant shelving I found on Ebay. FUN indulgence was probably the Jonathan Adler pillows and throw, also the Herman Miller desk chair :)

Of course, I’m one of those people that never thinks our place as “finally done.” ….But we’re now ready to have people over :)

The love story begins, “Lebanese armenian meets his beautiful american armenian from San Francisco” :)

Ani grew up going to Tahoe to ski and spend her summers there. Razmig saw and fell in love with the place as well. And as the true romantic, Raz suggested Lake Tahoe on New Year’s Eve because of the many symbolic components. And at the Ritz, because it was so beautiful, had an outdoor component and captured everything about us: the love for the outdoors, the rustic beauty, with a whole lot of elegance!

Raz and Ani, thank you for inviting us into your lives and allowing to document your wedding. You’re a couple who is VERY in love, daring, and have such optimism for life ….and of course LOVE a fabulous party ;)
Have an incredible honeymoon in Tahiti, and lets go skiing in Sun Valley for your next ski trip!
